We are a large staging area that collects inventories and distributes donated goods, primarily medical supplies all around the world.

Is Alaska Medical Missions a non-profit organization?

Yes, AMM is a nonprofit organization supported by partners in the community. More partners are needed to help expand and operate at its full potential.

What is the mission of AMM?

The vision and central mission of AMM is to solicit and collect surplus medical supplies and humanitarian aid materials and to stage those items in a warehouse until someone expresses a desire to deliver them directly to locations that have expressed a need.

Who takes items from AMM?

Short-term mission teams, church youth groups, career missionaries, airline personnel and others traveling via Alaska to impoverished countries.

Does AMM send people to the field?

No, we equip people with medical supplies.

What items can be donated to AMM?

Fully functioning medical supplies.

What items can NOT be donated to AMM?

Out of date medications, prescription drugs, broken or damaged equipment.
